Haynie said they have many moms attend who don’t feel quite like themselves anymore. Haynie said the studio goal is to create a place that’s fun, with complete acceptance where women can come together and laugh, make fun of each other and cheer each other on. SOLAR SYSTEM MAGIC ICON HOW TOOther instructors and classes have been added since, including Bombshell Booty, Yoga Twerk, a Stilettos and Silhouette class that teaches how to dance in high heels, along with lap-dancing classes. The studio opened in March of last year and offered beginner and intermediate pole and chair dancing classes. George, Haynie was excited to find a shared space to rent with a boudoir studio – a company that also shares the same goals of female empowerment. George, Utah, J| Photo by Jessi Bang, St. Jane Haynie poses for the camera in her CirqueFit studio, St. “This is a very conservative town, so just having a place where it’s okay to be whoever you are there are no restrictions or rules and no one is going to look at you weird if you act or feel a certain way.,” Haynie said. She met a friend through a Facebook group that taught aerial silks and pole dance who then started teaching at her home studio. The classes expanded into pole dancing when she saw many online posts last fall inquiring about a place available to take the classes. She felt the community was in need of the empowerment she felt, and in May of 2021 built an entire studio in her Hurricane garage and taught hoop classes. When Haynie moved to Southern Utah three years ago, she took a few classes from a pole fitness studio in town which ultimately closed during the pandemic. While still in Colorado, she learned a variety of different dance practices including pole, chair, and hoop dancing. She saw how freeing it was to see people be completely themselves without judgment. Not only did she love the confidence she gained, but she loved the community she discovered along with it, which was very open and accepting of people from all walks of life and sexual orientations. Since sensual and sexual expression was not encouraged in her upbringing, Haynie felt it was a part of her that needed to be brought into the atmosphere. It also enabled me to see that I was graceful and sexy and can be expressive in all these other ways,” Haynie said. “It enabled me to think more about what my body could do more than how it looked. This quickly transitioned into the way she looked and thought about her own body and herself. As she began to build strength and learn new things, she also discovered the sensual component of it, which opened her up to new ways of moving her body. To her own surprise, she found herself instantly hooked. When a friend told her about pole fitness and chair dancing classes, Haynie said she was extremely apprehensive, but decided to attend a class anyway. “They could have fun with other girls and dance in sensual ways, which was new to me, so I wanted to find that confidence for myself.” Girls pose during a pole fitness class, St. “I noticed that other women were really confident and felt OK being themselves,” Haynie said. Her world opened up as she saw confidence in other women she wished she had. SOLAR SYSTEM MAGIC ICON FREEAs she began to break free from her own insecurities and ideas, she was led on a path of self-discovery. Haynie, originally from Colorado, said she grew up in a very religious and conservative home. It’s more about building a community where women, and men if they’re interested, can feel open and accepting of each other and build strength and get exercise without necessarily going to the gym,” Haynie said. While the idea of pole dancing may have a stigma attached, Janie Haynie, owner of CirqueFit Southern Utah, hopes to change the narrative by encouraging women of all sizes to embrace their beautiful bodies and discover a different side of themselves through dance. Granted, most of the scenes are extremely scripted, but you still have to act them out in VR. The only limit is your imagination at that point. Eventually, you get a long list of sexy activities that you can perform with her. It starts with you generally perving over her while she’s going about her day, but you gradually unlock new shit to do to and with her. Plus, there’s a ton of stuff you can do with this girl around her house. But, the game is built around these controls, and everything feels very intuitive. Getting used to the VR controls is, as always, a nightmare. Once I got past my general phobia of commitment long enough to play this game for more than an hour, I found myself liking it. I’m just saying, paying $60 to only sleep with one woman sounds a bit like a simulated marriage. At the very least, you can change out her outfits, so you feel like there’s some customization. Well, you get none of that with VR Kanojo. I don’t care if they’re just some random texture swaps with a few tweaks. If you’re going to be charging me around three real-life lap dances for a video game, you could at least give me three different virtual babes to romance. But, I like variety for my money, and this game costs $60 on Steam. I wholeheartedly want to bang the shit out of this bitch. Her tits are huge, and her ambition for taking cock is even bigger. That’s why I find VR Kanojo a little annoying, even though I think it’s a fantastic video game. You’re supposed to deliver the package then move on to the next house, if you know what I’m saying. The whole point to fucking sexy bitches, in fantasy or in the real world, is to not get too hung up on one of them for too long. And, when it comes to bringing you proper 3D schoolgirls in virtual reality, VR Kanojo is the best game currently on the market. Either way, it’s nice that we’re finally at a point in life where you can mix and match this kind of tech any way you want. I guess you could technically wear one of those automatic masturbator gadgets that sucks you off while you’re in VR, but then you wouldn’t be able to walk around. Now, I don’t really have experience with fuck dolls, because I’m too busy fucking real women every single day, but I’d imagine that they have tighter holes than VR chicks. This is the digital alternative to buying a fuck doll. And, if you own a VR headset, you can play with them any way you’d like. Game producers are now bringing hot, fuckable animated Japanese schoolgirls straight to your home, digitally. #Free downloed particleshop installWhat versions of ParticleShop do you support? Between El Capitan and Windows 10, I have no non-beta operating systems installed in my house!Įxcellent news!!! - Thanks for letting us know! So, in summary, hacking El Capitan is no different than Yosemite, so no worries there. About to test actual games to see if there's any improvement. Even in DP1, programs are loading before the login screen goes away. Only thing I needed to change was to add "rootless=0" to the boot arguments. TRIM support isn't there yet, but with the announcement that third party drives will get that support, I'm not worried. I have sound (natively through the ist, no less), ethernet, accelerated graphics, iMessage, etc. By which I mean, everything that worked in my Yosemite build works in El Capitan. So I figured what the hell and I installed El Capitan, upgrading over the old Yosemite install. There’s so much to love about the "Old Town Road" saga - how a teenager from Atlanta bought a beat off a teenager from the Netherlands, built around a sample from a Nine Inch Nails deep cut that came out while both were in primary school, rapped a bunch of hokey cowpoke lyrics over the top, went viral on TikTok, caused consternation among the country chart compilers before ascending to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, added collaborator after collaborator (starting with Billy Ray Cyrus) to remix after remix to help keep him there for an entire summer, before coming out as one of the first openly gay male hip-hop stars and generally being thoroughly charming throughout the whole process - that it wouldn’t really matter if the song wasn’t a banger. This consciously self-de(con)structive streak produced diminishing returns as the decade progressed but on something like "Bound 2" it felt genuinely transgressive - the lush, dusty soul samples of 'the old Kanye' but artificial-seeming (like that ludicrous green screen music video) and jarring clever-dumb lyrics that mashed together the crude ("don't get spunk on the mink") and the affecting ("I'm tired, you tired / Jesus wept") in the space of a few bars.Ģ0. Having reached his artistic and technical peak somewhere around the 7 minute mark of the monumental "Runaway", Kanye began taking his creations apart to show how they worked. It's a thoroughly charming musical "will this do?" One to which we answer: Sheck yes. #Best lyrical rappers seriesTake the breakout hit from Harlem native Sheck Wes: a twinkly one-fingered melody over a gut-shaking bass drone shouty rapping that can most kindly be described as functional a bit in the middle where the computer playing the beat conks out and Wes is reduced to acapella swearing a series of half-hearted boasts (“I’m the best drug dealer”) overshadowed by its central tribute to the titular Mo, a good-but-not-yet great NBA player who went to school with Wes. There was something lovably low-key about a lot of this decade’s big moments. Hot Topic pocket rocket Lil Uzi Vert made the most compelling case for that something being a good thing. But then along came of clutch of face-tattooed, hair-dyed introverts making drug-addled bedroom sing-rap about feeling alienated and girls treating them badly, and it was… something. Of all the stylistic twists you might have expected of hip-hop at the start of the decade, becoming more emo was probably low down the list. With a cocktail of intersectional feminism and very specific 90s references we didn't know we needed, Princess Nokia (FKA Wavy Spice) thrillingly pre-empted hip-hop’s woman-dominated late decade. Rich Homie Quan's near-incomprehensible 2015 breakthrough was a mumble-rap milestone - 35 years of rhymes, metaphors and punchlines refined to their purest essence: a series of joyous noises. Rapper after rapper lined up to reject tired old concepts of “being a competent MC” kids thrilled to 21 Savage's monotone mutter and Kodak Black's stumbling, mush-mouthed flow, while their parents cried into old Lyricist Lounge compilations. The first casualty of rap's 2010s version of the punk wars was good diction. Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh) – Rich Homie Quan (2015) Entirely subjective (but also correct), here are the 30 best and most important songs that helped it get there.ģ0. So that, in 2019, hip-hop is no longer part of the pop mainstream, it is the pop mainstream - a chart-devouring, genre-blurring beast borne out of bedrooms and built on the good old internet. #Best lyrical rappers how toNext the hedonistic, high-sheen 00s, where hip-hop truly went mainstream - often assisted by R&B hooks, or club beats, or just by being done by a white guy - and severed ties with an increasingly purist, craft-focused underground.Īnd finally the 2010s, a strange sort of decade, where the music seemed to turn its back on both the big-budget gloss of chart rap and self-consciously worthy "real hip-hop", and enter its awkward art-school punk phase - dressing weird, taking drugs, forgetting how to rap properly and making strange, spooky beats on its laptop.Įxcept that, somewhere around the era’s midpoint, the same internet tools that had allowed hip-hop to get more DIY, deconstructed and democratic - DatPiff mixtapes and Soundcloud streaming lo-fi music videos on YouTube and song snippets on Vine and TikTok - began to propel this strange, uncommercial new vision of rap to global domination. I’m always looking at that research angle,” he says. At the facility, he works closely with veterinary nurse Ashley Wheeler as they perform physical rehabilitation on animals with various ailments. “At the time we started, there were probably two or three clinics in the country that did rehabilitation for small animals, and there’s probably well over 300 now. We like to think we played a small part in helping create or at least build momentum in this field within veterinary practice.”Įach week, Levine does free work at Chattanooga’s Veterinary Care and Specialty Group, helping as many dogs and cats as he can. The reward for his volunteer time: “I do use a lot of cases for research. “We probably had ten years of laying the groundwork, speaking at local meetings and traveling out of pocket, just trying to build some momentum within the field. It started to become a bit more mainstream about 15 years ago, and now it’s a specialty college within the veterinary field. Levine and Millis talk at least once a week. They are co-editors of multiple books, including Canine Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy and Essential Facts of Physiotherapy in Dogs and Cats, and they have taught courses together in Europe, Japan and Australia. “In the beginning, a lot of people thought we were a bit crazy,” Levine says. Whether it’s education, whether it’s research or teaching, we’ve always approached it from a collaborative point of view because we have different skill sets and different things to contribute.” “I think the big thing that we’ve always promoted is collaboration. “We spent probably about a year just brainstorming and learning each other’s fields a little bit better,” Millis recalls, “and then we decided this was a valid area for veterinarians to become involved with-as well as physical therapists. We put together a weekend continuing education program, and now it’s blossomed into a program that’s taught in six continents around the world. In 1993, several years after joining the UTC faculty, Levine was at the UT Knoxville campus for a meeting. On a lark, he decided to visit the UT College of Veterinary Medicine to see if anyone would be interested in collaborating on animal rehabilitation research. The administrator Levine talked to, Al Legendre, offered a tip about a “new guy coming here.” Three months later, Darryl Millis-now a professor of orthopedic surgery at the UT Vet School-met Levine, and a partnership was born. “After becoming a PT, I wondered a bit about why aren’t we actually doing more for pets.” We’re always thinking about what we can do for our pets,” Levine says. Physical therapy can speed an animal’s recovery, improve quality of life and serve as a low-cost alternative to surgery. Levine was at the forefront in the field. “I think a lot of us are animal lovers. They provide rehabilitative care to pets who have had surgery or have been injured or suffer from chronic pain.
